Obituary for Thomas "Tommy" Turner

Thomas "Tommy"  Turner
Thomas was a hard worker, faithful and dedicated husband, loving father, loved his family and friends.

Thomas was a member of Whitehaven Masonic Lodge #599 F&AM and traveled to the East as Worshipful Master 1988-1989, which is the highest position in the blue lodge.Later two lodges merged together, at that time Thomas became Past Worshipful Master, 25 year plus member at Oakville Masonic Lodge #599 F&AM. Thomas was also active with the Whithaven chapters of The DeMolay for boy and Whitehaven Rainbow Girls.

For the past 6 years Thomas delighted many people young and older as Santa Claus and also did volunteer work as Santa.

Thomas worked in the transportation industry for many years.

Thomas is proceded in death by his Grandmother Bessie Stokes, Mother Mary Johnson, 2 Brothers V.E. Littlejohn, C.C. Littlejohn 1 Sister Diane Thompson.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 39 years 6 months and 5 days Tammy L. Turner, 2 sons Thomas B. Turner of Marion, Arkansas, Mark A. Turner of Southaven, MS. 2 Granddaughters Katelyn M. Turner and Ariana S. Turner both of Knoxville, TN. 1 Grandson Mark Benjamin Bruce Turner of MN.

Thomas is also survived by 1 Sister Kathy Keck of Ripley, TN. 1 Brother Bobby J. Turner of Wynne, Arkansas. 1 Uncle James Johnson and 2 cousins from Alabama. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday September 22, 2018 from 2-6 pm at our home in Olive Branch, MS.

In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Thomas may be made to The American Heart Association or of donors choice.
